Sorry to bore you all with yet another Advent Frame, but this is a variation on the original. The picture was made using Craft Artist Professional 2, just another way of decorating it.
Thanks for looking today

Girly Pink
My brief for this order, was to make a birth congratulations card but it had to be girly and pink, in fact the more girly and pink the better. So I immediately thought of a little pink, lacy dress. I drew the dress template, traced the shape onto parchment, using a white pencil and used a pricking stencil, to get the pattern. I made a separate panel for the centre and 'cross' cut some of it, so that the pearlised paper underneath showed through a little, like real lace would. I'm not a 'parcher' but really admire the work that goes into parchment craft. I just just don't have the patience to do it!
I'm happy to say that my customer was very pleased and I was quite chuffed too!

I've been overwhelmed by the number of people who have shown an interest in it and look forward to seeing lots of creations soon. Hopefully you should all have your copies now, but I've missed anyone please email me again, it's not that I'm ignoring you!

Instructions for Advent Frame
Hello all
As promised I've written the instructions on how to make an Advent Frame 'calendar' of your own if you'd like to.
As I'm 'blog' challenged lol I haven't worked out yet how to put them on here, so I'm going to have to ask you to contact me by email at Jcreationsjc@aol.co.uk if you'd like them and I'll email them to you if that's ok.
Alternatively you can PM me (JaneC) on the Joanna Sheen Forum or message me on Facebook.
I will work out this technology stuff one day.
If you do make your own Advent Frame then I'd love to see it if you wouldn't mind.
thanks for your interest
Jane xx
P.S If there is something you don't understand in my instructions or I've made huge mistakes then please let me know and I'll try to sort it out! :)
P.P.S If any of your friends would like to try making one I'd appreciate you pointing them in my direction so that I can send them their own instructions, instead of you sharing yours. Thanks.

Advent 'Calendar'
Hello Blog land, I'm so sorry I've deserted you, but life got in the way a bit. However things seem to have calmed down a little now, so hopefully I'll post a little more often now.
Anyway while I've been 'away' I've been busy getting some more stock ready for my craft stall in November.
This project was inspired by a fellow blogger's post, thank you Jen for your inspiration. I can't remember where I got the link from in the first place, but remember thinking I'd like to have a go at making one, so I saved the page and when I had a little time to myself, I set about making my own template for it, which was surprisingly easy once a few niggles had been ironed out.
The holly and bow for the wreath was printed from Polka Doodles CD - Creative Christmas. As was the backing paper for the drawer fronts.
Thanks for your visit today.

Advent Chest
This project is another craft stall stock item, I found the details to make this on the monthly newsletter I receive from Joanna Sheen Ltd. A very kind and clever lady called Sheila Weaver, designs and shares a project each month, for newsletter readers to try out and when I saw this I knew I had to try it. So thank you Sheila for your generosity and inspiration.
The 'stash' papers I used to decorate the chest with, were free with a long forgotten magazine,

Birdhouses
As you probably know by now, I love making 3D items from card and paper. I'm doing a craft stall with a friend at the end of November and want to take something different to cards ( I will take them too) to catch peoples eye a bit. So looking through my stash the other night for inspiration, I came across a template on My Craft Studio Encyclopaedia 3D card and papercraft, of a bird house, so I came up with a few Christmas versions.
Hope you like them. Thanks for your visit today
